Promoting service, understanding, goodwill and peace
 The Spokane East Rotary Club is one of the most viable Rotary clubs in Eastern Washington. We’re a group of local business leaders dedicated to fundraising that supports the public good. Our major fund raising event is our food booth at the Spokane County Fair. Most of the money we raise goes to children.
Achievements
• Started Vanessa Behan Crisis Clinic with Seed money & labor. Vanessa’s grandfather was in our club at the time
• Started the City of Spokane’s Fire Safety house.
• Remodeled homes for disability access.
• Bought vans and retrofitted them with lifts for wheel chair access.
• Major underwriter for the Spokane Guild school matching scholarship fund.
• Sponsor of books for 4th graders (6 schools). Every 4th grader gets to pick out a book to keep.
• Provided the seed money for the Liberty Lake Pavilion Park handicap equipment.
• Remodeled transition housing for the Valley Center.
• Provided seed money for Micro Banking in Ethiopia
• Numerous other donations through out the years.
